New Draughtsmen

The Story

In case you didn’t notice, at 48.3 we spent this summer rolling out an extensive recruitment campaign for two Technical Design Draughtmen to join our team.

With growing demand for our services and the team already managing a heavy workload it was time to expand. After a lengthy selection and interviewing process it was Alex Kirk and Nitesh Patel that finally cut the grade and we are delighted to welcome them onboard!

Nitesh, a recent graduate from South London is joining the team with a First Class Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of East London. Nitesh brings with him a great engineering knowledge, a passion for learning and bags of enthusiasm and we are sure he will be a great asset to the team.

In addition Alex has recently made the big leap from living in Lancashire to the sunny climates of Surrey to join 48.3. Having spent the past 8 years as a Scaffold Operations Manager, Alex has a good understanding of how our designs are implemented onsite as well as all the health and safety implications, and in addition he too has been studying gaining a HNC in Civil Engineering.

48.3 Managing Director and Founder Ben Beaumont said, “Finding the right people is a challenge. We have always gone through a complete recruitment process each time we have hired new team members, and this was no different.

I am really pleased with the outcome and think we’ve found people that not only fit into our team, but also embrace our ethos and ‘why’ we are doing what we do – this is most important of all.

It’s also a great opportunity for our existing design team to step-up and demonstrate just how great they are and the wealth of knowledge they have acquired, as they assume some responsibility for mentoring our latest team members.”

Both Alex and Nitesh will be following 48.3’s bespoke ‘Technical Design Draughtsman’ training programme currently being delivered to our select and highly-valued training clients.
