Brief job role:

To work within the existing design team providing scaffolding and temporary works design schemes for a range of commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK whilst adhering to the latest codes of practice, UK regulations and company policies.

The successful candidate will specifically provide exceptional technical drawings to the highest industry standard.

Start Date:

Essential Criteria:

  • A-C Grade in GCSE English, Maths and Science
  • Excellent [demonstrable] Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent [demonstrable] written and verbal communication skills

Brief job role:

This role is specifically suited to someone with a scaffolding background who wants to use their experience and knowledge of scaffolding to develop a career in design. No previous experience in design or engineering is necessarily required as we will provide full training, however you must meet the basic academic requirements and have the dedication and motivation to study part time to attain the required qualifications.

The role will involve working within the existing design team providing scaffolding and temporary works design schemes for a range of commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK whilst adhering to the latest codes of practice, UK regulations and company policies. You will utilise your practical experience to help our design teams deliver buildable solutions and ensure we are always considering the needs of the scaffolder. 

Start Date:

Essential Criteria:

  • A-C Grade in GCSE English, Maths and Science
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with excellent written English language skills (this is critical and will be checked during the recruitment process)

  • Knowledge of the main requirements of Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations 2007.

The ability to write method statements and risk assessments would be an advantage along with the ability to accurately determine safe systems of work for any scaffold.
  • Construction related industry experience, either site or office based
