The Story

It is with great pleasure to announce Ivik Masek, our Principal Engineer and 48.3 Company Director has been awarded the Tony Chapman Medal by the Institution of Civil Engineers. The Tony Chapman Award promotes the role of newly qualified incorporated members and is only considered to those who have shown a passion and enthusiasm for civil engineering, contributed to the profession and shown outstanding qualities.

Ivik commented, ‘I am honoured to have won such a prestigious award. I am very grateful to both my ICE sponsors and 48.3 Scaffold design. I have no doubt that working for an employer that encourages everyone to be the best and continuously improve has contributed to my success. Being awarded the Tony Chapman Medal has given me further determination to inspire others working in my field to become professionally qualified, continously learn and improve'.

Ivik will be awarded his medal this autumn at the Institution of Civil Engineers headquarters in London but until then everyone at 48.3 congratulates him on a well deserved win.
