The Story
Last year we delivered in excess of 300 projects in what was a record year for 48.3, now we are all fired up for an even better year in 2015, especially with the official launch of '48.3 Training’ and '48.3 International’, its going to be a big one that’s for sure.

Kicking off the year with a great positive start; we are delighted to be finalists in TWO Construction News Specialist Awards categories! We have been nominated in the Access and Scaffolding Specialist of the Year and Structural Specialist of the Year categories. We will need to wait until March for the winners to be announced at the Construction News Specialists Awards presentation evening; but we have everything crossed! 48.3 Training
48.3 Training Ltd was launched at the beginning of 2014. We deliver structured training solutions to scaffolding contractors wishing to bring their design service in-house and start their own technical departments, or professionally train their existing staff.
Our training course content covers everything from mind-set and personal development, draughting and technical drawing, and technical calculation skills, to design management and risk assessment. Our trainees leave with everything they need to be successful and motivated technical design draughtsmen or design engineers.
For the past ten months we have been successfully delivering training to some fantastic delegates from Connect Scaffolding Ltd, Anglewest Ltd and GKR Scaffolding Ltd and are currently operating at full capacity.

48.3 International
48.3 International has joined with strategic partners Falck Safety Services UAE to offer Scaffolding and Working at Height training across the GCC region.
Having successfully become accredited by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and the Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association (PASMA) we will be bringing together the training expertise of Falck Safety Services and the technical knowledge of 48.3 to offer a number of innovative and fully accredited scaffolding education programmes. We are driving up the standard of both course content and training delivery across this region.
The training programmes aim to improve safety performance and safeguard lives, increase workforce efficiency and productivity, and ultimately increase our client’s profit margins.
It’s an exciting development for 48.3 and one that showcases our skills to a totally new market; we look forward to keeping you updated on its success throughout the year.
