48.3 recruits first ever apprentice
04 Oct 2021
Tom McCarthy joins as our first ever apprentice.
48.3 is delighted to welcome its first ever apprentice, Tomas McCarthy. Tomas has joined the 48.3 team in Redhill, Surrey, having initially spent some time with them during the summer on work experience. Tomas comes from a family of scaffolders, so has a keen interest in the industry.
Now he has successfully passed his GCSE’s, Tomas is a fully pledged 48.3 Scaffold Design Management Apprentice. Beginning his journey into the engineering industry, he embarks on a three-year civil engineering technician programme at East Surrey College which 48.3 is sponsoring.
We caught up with 48.3 Managing Director, Ben Beaumont who told us, “It takes a special kind of person to become part of 48.3 and work within this industry. Having spent some time with Tomas, we have recognised his drive and curiosity and are very proud to be sponsoring him through his college programme”.
From all your new colleagues at 48.3, we wish you all the best Tomas, the future is bright!
