01 Sep 2021

Gavin Dempsey CEng MICE

We are pleased to announce, Gavin Dempsey (pictured here on the right), Director at 48.3 has successfully passed his Chartered Professional Review with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

When we caught up with Gavin, he told us how proud he is to have achieved CEng MICE status, particularly within his field of expertise as very few who are dedicated to the scaffolding sector attain the highest grade of professional certification with the Institution of Civil Engineers.

"It is my wish to represent the scaffolding sector at this highest grade and to assist others within the business to achieve this standard within their professional careers. I feel it demonstrates to our clients that 48.3 are not just competent, but class leading. I am looking forward to raising the bar in this niche design market and continuing to offer more to clients in the field of access engineering and temporary scaffolding structures".

Ben Beaumont CEng MICE - Managing Director of 48.3 said, "Our commitment to engineering standards is paramount. The company has a dedicated ICE approved training program, and all of our staff are encouraged to strive for chartered qualification, not only for the company, but for themselves".

Ben's first passion is scaffolding design, and he is delighted to see the professionalism taken seriously across the Group - something that wasn't around 11 years ago when he founded 48.3 Scaffolding Design Limited.

The 48.3 team continue to develop as a business, and with new technical skills now available to it's clients, they will lead the way with the procurement, design and safe use of scaffolding structures.

From all your colleagues, congratulations Gavin!
